Many years ago, Honda imported a model of generator that from the factory had a similar plug, but Honda Australia said it wasn’t safe, so they got a new outlet fitted.
Someone grey imported a whole heap of them with the original outlets and Honda got into a lot of trouble even though they did the right thing.
Most cheap Chinese bunnings quality generators have similar connectors, however as with the advice above, I would be changing the outlet for a different style.
I was in masters when they still were a business and one of their generators had the same style plug, but the plastic holding the pins was so soft that it fitted into the 240v gpo without too much force.
I’m also assuming you know that the 12v output is normally unregulated and ripply as shit. It’s there as an emergency battery charger only. Even the new Honda’s are the same, still pretty much off a coil on the stator and rectified.
