CIC806 is 100% equivalent to ICL7126 ?
« on: February 24, 2019, 04:49:17 pm »

I am having problems finding the CIC806 datasheet.
CIC has absolutely no end user support with their chipsets.

This old CIC806 chipset may find a use recently

and I need to make sure it is 100% compatible with ICL7126 chips

Any hint or even the datasheet welcome

Thanks
Paul

Thanx for you reply.

I have even better alternative.

The CIC came from an ancient dead DMM

I have another old crappy based on the 7126 which probably needs
to be replaced. I can try... but  murphy said that checking it first is good ...

The datasheet would clarify some doubts... as I have already heard
that CIC cloned the 7126 without permission... some time later it vanished.

so far no datasheet published... or yet or never available.

I will sleep on that testing bench gig..
I have just ONE salvaged chip
one shot
