Tek 2232 horizontal image distorted, turned out to be a simple repair [Solved]

Hi all,

I got my hands on a 2232, that had a compressed horizontal display.
Vertical was OK.
I first checked all the Power Supply voltages, and they were all OK, so I went to the horizontal amplifier.

There the 100V was OK too, but since the picture was compressed, but centered, I figured it had to be something both the amps were suffering from.
I had a better look at the voltage divider that provided bias for both amps, R792 and R793.
R792 was spot-on 5k36, but R793 measured (in circuit) way to high.

I removed R793 (difficult because of the High Voltage cable running on top of it-) and it was gone... completely open!!
I replaced it with a bigger metalfilm 1/4W resistor I selected to be 56k2 et voila: Succes!!

I think this resistor was dimensioned way too small to be used in a 100V circuit, but who am I to judge....
