Help to find this pwm controller
« on: November 13, 2023, 12:23:09 pm »
Can someone help me find the correct part number or at least similar datasheet?
The code written on chip is "1F2=C1Z"

R7732LGE https://www.richtek.com/assets/product_file/R7732/R7732-01.pdf Actual device code is IF2= (page 2)

I think the code is F2=. The leading marking appears to be a vertical line.

It's a vertical bar but it's actually a part of a part number marking, and R7732LGE actually has |F2=marking which is a bit unusual for Richtek as in 99% of cases their ICs have 3 or 2 symbol marking. F2= that website shows for it is incorrect. Neither Richtek puts vertical lines on their ICs to mark orientation, they put a small triangle in the corner of pin 1.

Richtek's own documentation is confusing.

This photo of an R7731AGE has a vertical line (|DP=):

This document assigns a product code of "DP=" to the IC:

https://www.rom.by/files/Richtek_Marking_Code.PDF

The datasheet, however, states that "IDP= : Product Code":

Are you sure the part is defective? It sure looks like a bad solder joint on the top left pin, as oriented in the picture. Maybe re-solder (aka "reflow") all of the pins? HTH.
