Hi folks,

I'm not much of a contributor on here at the present, in fact, I think this might be my first post?!
Anyway, I've done a search on the forum first, but nothing relevant to my enquiry pops up.

I've got one of those China made solder workstations, soldering iron and hot air gun, which I know one or two of you on here have.
My question though is, of those who have modded or repaired these and all their variants, does anyone know what type of wire/cable is used for the air gun?
All I know is it's 8-core(?) black cable, but does anyone know what might be suitable to replace it with?

Not expecting much of a response, but anything I get, I'm grateful for!
