Found 360 Heatsink Mount Solution

Hello, I found this solution for cutting up the metal casing of the 360 to mount the 360's heatsinks in a different way.

Since this is an unknown source well before the Team Xecuter bolting your board drama and it has very little proof, I assume this person means well, but of course good intentions aren't enough when it comes to fixing bad hardware. Is this fix reliable or is it just another farce that won't do anything else than mutilate your consoles. Also what about this?
http://www.se7ensins.com/forums/threads/air-fan-shroud-modification.462856/
I assume that fix is 99.99% effective since it allows air to pass through the fins instead of the fins just being there as a passive cooling solution since very little air is moving through the fins without that simple modification.
I hope asking this isn't too much trouble and thank you to those who answer or at the very least read this. I just want Phat 360 owners to get the best out of their system being one myself and I'm bad at airflow management.

I hope it's okay to bump this, but I'm just curious if these solutions are good or not. It would help out plenty of 360 users and save them quite a bit of money if so. Sorry for the bump.
