My first post...so here goes !

I have a few Fluke 8060A's kicking around.....which are complete, in excellent condition, w/functional display's...except they have dead MAC chips in them (Measurement Acquisition Chip - Fluke P/N: 612713).

NOTE:  After borrowing a functional chip, I confirmed that all these meters work perfectly...

Maybe someone has a small cache of these chips lying around... ????

More likely...the best source of these chips are other 8060A's.   Perhaps there may be hobbyists/tech's out there with old 8060A's with the reverse scenario (missing buttons, crappy cases, dead displays)...who'd like to get a few buck's for these DMM carcass's...allowing me to harvest the MAC chip, and Frankenstein my units back to life !

Let me know....message me thru the EEV forum...thanks.

CJ.

Dead as in completely non-functional that it doesn't even power up and give a display?

BTW, if you are fan of the 8060A, you may be interested in these threads.
