I bricked APC UPS SMT2200RM2U - can anyone help me?

I have an UPS by APC, SMT2200RM2U.  During firmware update, something went wrong and as a result, it's now a very heavy paper weight.  I looked for a flash EPROM but I couldn't find it either.  Does anyone know what I can do to re-upload the original version of firmware into this thing?

I have multiple SMT2200RM2U so if there is a way, I can read from one and write to this paperweight, also.

No (E)EPROM? Did you looked at both sides of the boards? If still not found the firmware is likely stored in a µController.

If you can't find that one then post pictures of the board so we can read the names.
You might also look for a SPI interface or similar on the board.

There are different versions of the SMT2200. So you just can’t take some dump and flash whatever version on it.
