Fluke 115

Trying to open my Fluke 115 to repair LCD, any clues how Range selector dial comes off?
Have removed all screws on PCB, just having problem removing selector, even with a spudger.
Don't want to break anything.

Find out tomorrow, customer scrapped this meter, no display & chip of glass taped on front of meter?

Bad news, LCD screen broken across top right corner, lost about four lines, so no display of data. Backlight ok. Cost of replacement LCD, if available maybe not cost effective for this low end Fluke dmm.

I did a search but could not find many options in regards to cheap replacements, you may need to contact Fluke or one of the repair centers such as the one linked below, the EBay listing indicates that it would cost about half the meters value if shipped from the US. Fluke Part Number : 2509955.

Thanks MS, thats exactly the same options i looked at today. Have checked all input protection parts & PCB,
So meter should be good to go. Think this will be a new year project.

You might find either a broken Fluke 11x meter or even a working 113.  The 113's sometimes don't sell for much.  Of course a 115 can also be had for $70-80 if you are patient.
