Fluke 787
« on: December 15, 2021, 05:26:03 pm »
Hello, I need help with a broken fluke 787.

I can see absolutely no damage, cold solders, short circuits etc ..

The meter does not make any measurements, it is constantly looking for the range on the resistance test.
The continuity test is still active.

The display works, the buttons work.

Is there anyone who has experience with this meter and can help? Maybe someone has a diagram?

I noticed that the black "com" banana jack is shorted to + 9v battery. Can it be like that in general? It seems illogical to me, but after long measurements I am not sure anymore.
