Samsung 2233 SN repair
« on: November 01, 2012, 06:15:22 pm »
Hi all.

I have a Samsung 2233 SN which worked ok for a while, then started to show the following symptoms:

The colors became washed towards white
The contrast became very bad, letters are almost illegible now
When you display a black background, the whole LCD panel shows irregular areas going toward white
When it starts up the symptoms are very visible, but after 30 mins or so the displays looks somewhat better (you can watch a movie for example but you have very bad colors, no contrast and so on)
The simpotms started from a certain spot on screen and started to "concquer' the whole screen.

What do you think guys ?
thanks all

Check the 5v->3.3v and 3.3v/5v -> 1.8v on the display board.
