circuit board help

just joined the forum for some advice and poss help .
i have a hybrid inverter that i stupidly when i disconnected the battery leads reconnected them in a rush in reverse , now the main board is ok and working but no one on the solar forum has any idea what  the tiny board is that started to burn out me guessing is a charger  :-// its connected via +/- on the battery side and the same on the solar input side , i have tried the maker but no response, so guys any idea what it is , worth fixing or some sort of replacement see pictures

The image is not that clear.
I suggest you remove the PCB and clean up the damaged area to see if the tracks are badly damaged.

I know it is burnt to look at.
If you are asking for help to repair it, you need at least a magnified picture of the damaged area, not enough information.
