CF-IDE40 V.EO knockoff?

Well after picking up an eBay order, I have been left feeling a bit off.

My grand master plan is to use one of the CompactFlash card or buy a larger one for use in one or two older desktop computers and/or a laptop.

The interface adapter I was sent isn't 100% same as on the eBay listing, apart from the bent pins on the eBay listing I can see a resistor under the CompactFlash slot, but with the unit shipped to me, it has a capacitor.

Was this anything I might need to switch out or should it be safe to use as is?
