Advice needed ,ccfl board,external or placed inside my scope?

Hi to all ,as my scope's ccfl lamp ,transformer is not working anymore i ordered a small single lamp board ,all i need now is some advice ,should i place the new board inside the scope or place it in a sealed box outside the scope ,greetings to all to all ,nic.

ccfl wiring emits a lot of noise, so should be kept as short as possible, i.e.inside

Thanks Mike ,i have ordered a led strip as well to see which is the best option just going to have to experiment , on the left side of the scope where the monitor is there is nothing,only the power supply board ,and the main acquisition board is totaly to the left ,thanks and the best greetings .
