Asrock H61m-s doesn't activate PSON

Hi all,

my ASrock H61m-s suddenly doesn't power on. No fan spins(including the PSU fan) and no led flashes. The PSU works perfectly on another board. Is it safe to just force power to the board by shorting pson or can I damage something if I do this? Thanks for your help in advance.

Sounds like a short. Can you see anything burnt or getting hot?
