UniT UT139C is broken
« on: February 05, 2023, 03:18:12 pm »
Hello!
I would like to ask for help in repairing my multimeter.
I bought UniT UT139C, barely a year old, based on the tests here, it seemed to be the best value for money for my hobby purposes.
I didn't expect it to break a month beyond the warranty period.
I am attaching the video of the error, it produces this without test leads.

I changed the battery, cleaned the contacts under the control dial with alcohol, nothing changed.

Any idea how I can fix it?
Thanks!

Since same reading is flipping sides it's not really intermittent.
Maybe checking cold solders first is the way.
