Hi,

I'm looking for a power management solution for two 12V DC Motors each with an ECU (max. current 6A) in an EV. The Main Battery of the EV has a nominal voltage of 44V and a max. discharge current of 140A. The secondary battery has 12V and 7 Ah which means it is insufficient to power both ECUs.

I've looked into System Basis Chips (SBCs) that are used in Automotive, essentially combining power, comms, diagnostics and supervision into one single board but my feeling is that this would come with a lot of overheads..

I'm really looking for the simplest solution that can still be demonstrably safe.
