Mean Well LRS-350-24
« on: February 02, 2024, 12:08:47 am »
Hello, I am looking for a 24V PSU to drive a NEMA 23 stepper motor and perhaps also use it as a power supply for other projects. I read some people are using this PSU with NEMA motor.

Is there anything special about PSU from Mean Well?

There are 9 output ports without cover. Also there is no ON/OFF switch nor socket to connect to a power cord. Is there a possible danger of health hazard if somebody accidentally touch some of the ports? I asked Mean Well several times but they avoid answering this question.

Yes. You are looking at a power supply "component" that is for integration into a larger product.

If you want a ready to use lab style supply (with power switch etc) then buy that to begin with.
