Mac8 alternative for their seemingly unique offerings?
« on: October 25, 2022, 06:45:41 pm »
I've used Mac8 (www.mac8usa.com) a few times in the past for some of their unique offerings.  Now due to 6+ month leads I'm looking at alternatives.

Stuff like this:

Any alternatives out there?  I will machine the M5 SMT parts if need be and then have them plated but was hoping to get another source.  The wire management parts are nice but not absolutely necessary in this project.

Update:

Found a Wurth product from the Redcube line: https://www.we-online.com/catalog/en/WP-SMBU_THROUGH-HOLE

Available from the major distributors.  Labeled as a "terminal" (https://www.mouser.com/ProductDetail/Wurth-Elektronik/7466005R?qs=lBTPRtX1sU9OrmcTuT9vLw%3D%3D)

Wurth would have been my first thought. If you go bigger volume than x,000 units its over to custom.

Keystone is another option, but the biggest they go is M4, and less inventory of M4 than smaller sizes.
