« on: January 09, 2024, 07:39:29 pm »
Hello,
I am searching a 10nF 63V Axial Electrolytic Capacitor to make a footprint in Kicad but I really can't find it. Could you please help me to find one or about the dimensions?

Note: Probably I opened this topic to the wrong section. Please delete this topic.

10nF electrolytic capacitors do not exist.

Generally, follow this process:
1) choose suitable component based on availability of distributors,
2) read the datasheet carefully to confirm suitability
3) open the footprint drawing page on the datasheet
4) create the footprint in your EDA software

Such part does not exist. Not to say footprint is created for particular part, not its specifications.

If you cannot find the part, why do you need a footprint?

Forgive us our typos, as we forgive our neighbors’ typos.
I assume he meant microfarads.
