Connector Help [Solved]
« on: June 22, 2011, 09:57:43 am »
I've been working with this board I'm trying to figure out what connectors it is using.
Any tips would be appreciated, I'm not even sure what to search for.

Thanks!

On the left hand side of the socket on the 2nd photo there's a marking. MX J (maybe L)?
Take a good magnifying glass and look for other markings.

I didn't even see that!
A quick google search led me to the right result.
They are Molex connectors #0541670208 and #0537480208 in case anyone is interested.

Thanks for the help!

have you traced the connectors where they are going? that can give you a clue like where's the power and ground pins, i/o signal etc. so you have better hint when you've found reference in the net.

That will be the next step. I wanted to make sure we could get the connectors before doing any further work.

sorry i meant the socket, not connector. a simple continuity check with dmm and needle sharp probe on the "socket" and circuit is whats needed i think?
