Getting started with Embedded web server
« on: February 09, 2017, 08:49:48 am »
Hello,

I want to create web server for micro controller based system. I need help to get started with making page and map page variable in code.

I have seen TI TM4C1294 examples but in that if any changes needed in web page then it is very complicated to add and modify.

Anybody know any other GUI based utility or any other easy way to make embedded server??

ESP8266, tons of code base, easy to setup. Google it. Lots of videos
on Youtube.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/ESP8266

$ 5 to $ 8 on aliexpress.com for USB version, sub $ 2 for ones without.

Regards, Dana.

I second the ESP8266, the Huzzah module from Adafruit is excellent for prototyping as it's a very particular chip when it comes to voltages and IO, and you can just use it right away. and it comes pre programmed for arduino IDE use right away, then you can use any of hundreds of web server examples on the web for it.
