Looking for help identifying a compatible connector.
« on: November 23, 2016, 02:03:28 am »
I'm playing around with a small addon for the original NES(Nintendo Entertainment System). I decided it would be better to not require people to solder on and modify their hardware if possible(not every modification I have can do that, but this one can).

My problem is finding a connector that is compatible with the existing ones in the box. I was able to find the right connector for the game controllers(if you are wondering: JST 2.0 PH 7-Pin work perfectly on both sides), but have been unable to find one that works with the power/reset/LED connector.

Images of the connectors, blue ones are the mystery:

My best measurements of the pins have 5mm spacing on center, 7.5mm for the larger gap, but it all could be imperial and totally wrong...

There is a logo I don't recognize on the connector, it unsurprisingly happens to be the same as on the power and reset switches here:

This is just for a hobby, maybe sell something, but nothing that would make me a profit. I have spent way too many hours(days) looking online. The game controller connectors were deceptivly easy to find and led me down the rabbit hole of believing I should be able to find it. Any help or direction(even a company name) would help, I don't mind trolling the catalogs from there. (Of course if you do know the exact connector, that just sames me a bunch of time.)

Thanks
