Unable to run Arduino Bluetooth Control android app

Today my Google Pixel 2 XL had an upgrade from Android 7.1 to Android 8.1 and now as I am trying to open the ABC App it only loads a blank white screen during its startup and crash itself after few sec automatically. Is there any way to get the app working normally once again? Thanks a lot in advance...
