induction motor efficiency at reduced load
« on: October 02, 2013, 03:59:23 am »
If you take a 120V induction motor and load it with, say, 60% of its rated torque (assuming rated torque is its peak efficiency point), what voltage should it then be supplied with in order to get peak efficiency under that load condition? How much better efficiency can be expected as opposed to leaving it at 120V?
Cryptocurrency has taught me to love math and at the same time be baffled by it.

Cryptocurrency lesson 0: Altcoins and Bitcoin are not the same thing.
