noob needs help (A) (about SA ppe2400) digital controlled analog EQ

hi fallow EEVblog fans/users

i have a broken PPE2400, i think its un repairable,. (bought it broken, and found all kinds of attempts to fix it ) 

is there anybody who want's to help me?
im planning to use a raspberry pi and connect the interface and buttons to it, and than use a external sound card to alter the sound (any suggestions are welcome )
