While spiraling down the path into time-nuts territory, I realized that I need a way to distribute 10MHz somehow. Not willing to hunt for a video distribution amplifier on ebay, I dug out an old design from W.H. Rech (DF9IC), a friend kindly shared a hardcopy of the orignal schematic (drafted on paper, Dave-CAD style!).
I captured the schematic into a KiCAD project, which you can find here:
https://github.com/thinkfat/dist-ampThe PCB is 4 layer, layed out rather generously in 100mm by 63.5mm, with footprints for SMA jacks.
Power input is 12V through a barrel connector (5.5mm/2.1mm).
I've attached some measurements done with a NanoVNA V2plus4.
If you want to recreate it, there are Gerber and drill files and also SMT CPL+BOM for JLCPCB SMT service. It includes most of the passive components save two inductors for the input filter and the amplifier chip (MAX4022ESD+).
