maybe you can learn how the car's electronic protected from it? how the ecu is sealed inside enclosure?

This is more about the battery which isn't removable. The electronics should be fine in all temperatures.

As for using a cooler. I thought of this and seems anything will need to be brought in first unless I go with the handwarmer idea someone mentioned.
