Storage time effects of BJTs

Hi,
The attached shows a circuit on the LHS, which runs deeply saturated. However, it appears to switch at the same time as the one on the RHS.
Does anyone  agree with this?, and do  you have a simulable model showing this storage time effect properly?

The storage time effects seem not to be written into any simulator's BJT models.

Without waveforms and with a moderately complex circuit who can comment on what is happening? :-//
I ran a simulation to show just the saturation effect and got faster recovery for lower saturation e.g.

You have to measure the recovery at the same drive strength, also base current during saturation isn't necessarily a measure of the "strength" of saturation.

I think you have to find a BJT model with RCO set, that seems to be part of the saturation modeling.
