My DIY ebay parts desktop light

Testing high intensity led work light

Bought parts from ebay, can't find panel on ebay anymore but there are similar ones. Probably blows up like every other chinese panel :P
Control panel is standard chinese dc-dc step-down converter board but this one has input and output voltage display. Shows 0.1 volts under but otherwise pretty much on spot. Rated for 3 amps (LM2596 chip) with extra cooling.
Connected another 10k pot. resistor with two 2.2 kOhm resistors in paraller to set up my min voltage around 6 volts and highest voltage around 10-12 volts.

50W led panel which has 10 super bright leds. Accepts input voltage of 7.5 to 37 volts. Less voltage draws less power, after power peak (50-60W) amperage starts dropping down until input voltage is too high and panel shuts down.

Wanted to use it passively but with 'overdrive' it produces so much heat that you cannot anymore touch heatsink.

Now have to make an enclosure for control board and mount the led panel and heat sink into a shade and a support.
