Design of Active-ORing - Reg
« on: June 15, 2017, 11:06:31 am »
Hi,

I am Designing an Active O-ring circuit. The Circuit has two voltage sources 48V and 36V. The 48V source (battery) is swappable.

My Requirement is

When the 48V source is removed the 36V source should power the circuit and when the 48V is added to the circuit the 36V source should stop discharging.

Based on my requirement I have designed an O-ring circuit. Let me know if there is any mistake in the circuit.

I don't think the DC-DC converter will work very well with it's output connected to it's input...

The Output and Input are not tied. The line between output and input is just a representation that Switch A and Switch B share the same state (i.e. when switch A is open switch B is open and vice-versa).
