RF transceiver

'm working on a rf project.Could any one suggest me an RF transceiver (may even Point to Point or an multipoint) but should 've an area coverage of 5000 mts (5 kilometers).....

5km is quite a lot ... and your description is a bit short.

* Is it on flat open terrain ? Or 5 km in a huge underground bunker ?
* Any frequency band requirement (legal restrictions in your country) ?
* What kind of data ? Voice / Digital / Analog stuff ? What bandwidth/bitrate ?
* Power supply available ?
* Size ? Antenna size ?

Sorry dude 'm new to this kindda of forums ('d be appropriate to tell for the internet either).
Comin to the point.
It is in open terrain / Frequncy band similar to that of any gsm carriers
Type of data : Digital
bandwidth / bitrate : 'm not sure
power supply : very min power supply
Size : Yet to decide ()

You've answered some already,
Bitrate / bandwidth would be useful. Are you sending a few bytes or streaming video for example ?
Do you have line of sight ?
Point to point or network / mesh ?
Fixed or mobile installation ?

There are many bands available and 5km is easy achievable with the correct antenna

'm wannin to send 48 kb encrypted data
no i don 've line of sight hence 'm thinkin of RF

What obstacles do you have in the way ?
trees / buildings.
Do you have a topography map, you can use google earth to get details of elevations and obstacles, bear in mind that the data may be a few years old so if new buildings have been constructed you will have to take this into account

Yaaaa its not completey open terrain coz its a deep outskirts of city. 've obstacles like trees buildings even wind . .
Also antenna height matters as i need a compact one - hence i belive that no Line Of Sight 'd be obtained

From memory I think they have a transceiver that does 4500 metres.
Maybe with mini yagi antennas...
