i remember a while ago maplin uk used to sell self adhesive pcp symbols for marking out copper clad before etching,can anyone remember what they were called,ive looked on ebay but cant remember what to search for!

The name that springs to mind is Letraset. I remember both symbols for schematics and pads, lines and bends for PCBs. I've not seen or used them for about 40years.
