For high currents and high accuracy a DCCT might actually be cheaper ...

That's basically how a DC clamp meter works right?

I'll stick with a traditional current shunt for now as that is how HP specify the test is to be done, and I just want to make one too. :)

Next current measuring project might end up as a DCCT even.
Where does all this test equipment keep coming from?!?
