Fluke/Philips pm97
« on: March 09, 2016, 05:32:56 pm »
Hi,

So i just acquired a fluke/philips pm97 scopemeter. Resistance, continuity and scope all seems to work fine but im getting a 0 reading on all voltage readings ac/dc/mv.

Any idea what could be the problem?

Maybe a blown input protection, faulty relay, etc, hard tell.
If you haven't got the service manual, http://www.opweb.de/nl/model.php?id=1177] http://www.opweb.de/nl/model.php?id=1177

Well, I had a similar problem and found that it was just me not knowing how to use the meter  :palm: and too lazy to read the manual  :palm:. You may try yourself:
If you press METER and then, the softkey for VDC, it only measures from the BNC inputs, but it autoranges to mV.
If you press METER and the softkey for mVDC, it only measures from the banana inputs and it measures up to 3.5V
