Need budget EMF/Tesla Meter to find cause of headaches... or something like that

So as the title states this is not your usual question but then again most of us arent usual people either...

My problem/ question broadly speaking is something like this:

My mom, who has suffered from severe headaches all her life, is a rather unusual person as in that she claims to get severe headaches or feelings of discomfort around certain devices or in certain places. Mostly linked to strom magnetic fields or strong signals from communication technology. Or so I belive.
Mostly she complains about getting headaches when using old wireless phones, when near inductive heaters, in buildings with strong WiFi signals and a severe feeling of discomfort when standing close to or under high voltage powerlines.
These unusual sensations coincide with the fact that electronics around her go crazy or simply stop working.
This effect varies in strength day by day but is allways present.
Let me illustrate. For example she once asked me for my help because the WiFi on her laptop wasnt working. So I went and thought I would do the usual checks (WiFi turned on connected correctly and the god old turning it off and on again and so on) but I was greeted with a strange looking error message from firefox and a completley dead WiFi connection. I could not find this error on the web (searching on my phone) nor have I seen it since.  And no matter what I tried the error would only go away and internet conectivity resumed when she left the room. It would immidiatly return upon her reentering though...
I even had to ground her shoes with a bit of desoldering wick which she shoves in her sock to stop her from getting non stop electrostatic  shocks when touching anything mettalic. And yes we did test wearing different fabrics, shoes and other things but nothing worked exept grounding her directley.
These and other strage phenomenon are common with her. She cant even wear a normal wristwatch because it will sease to function within a matter of weeks unless it is purley mechanical...
So me being a rather scientificaly minded and curious person I want to get to the bottom of this.

PS: I am an electrician by trade and a tinkerer by passion which means that I have a decent but novice understanding of magnetic fields and communication electronics but I lack the expertise and the measuring equipment to adequatly asses the situation. I also understand that what I have written here sounds made up and I am not sure I would belive it if some guy on the internets told me that this happend, had I not seen it myself. But please be assured that I am not making this up and am serious about the whole affair.

My plan:
I want to get a Budget EMF/Tesla meter to measure different enviroments, devices and not to be forgotten my mum.
I hope to see her sensations coincide with some sort of measureable phenomenon and therby hope to better understand her situation or even help her.

My questions to you:

1: What measurements would you recommend?

2:What 100.- ish meter would you recommend for this task?

3:Have any of you had similar experiences or ideas regarding this problem or is my mom an isolatet case?

Assuming you are serious, I wouldn't buy any equipment at all.  If your mother can actually demonstrate a phenomena which (1) defies easy explanation and (2) is reproducible at will, you won't have any trouble finding a third party to help you investigate, at no cost.  Scientists spend their lives dreaming of things like this.
