Name of Mitutoyo pcb connector???

Does any one have any idea what type of connector is used to connect to a Mitutoyo digital indicator?  The connections appears to be just exposed pads that are connected by spring pins like in this cable.

 I would really like to not have to pay $40 for a tiny connector. I can post dimensions if they are needed.

I did a project with the Mitutoyo dial indicator and ended up buying the control cable from Mitutoyo.

You can get SMT spring contact fingers, depending on the pitch a small PCB with a few if those might make a serviceable connector.  But for a one off, may not be worth the hassle to save $40.

OK would they actually be called that on a place like digikey or mouser or is there some trade name I'm missing like how dupont connoctors are .1 inch pin headers?

Just solder a pin header there. The pitch seems reasonable, maybe .1 header will fit.

You may also find similar things categorized with EMI components, since such spring contacts are often used to make contact with shields integrated into mechanical housings.

The pitch appears to be 1.5mm so the easy solution of pin headers will not suffice and I do not want to solder to the $500 indicator board. The emi connectors look promising Ill see where that takes me. thanks for your help.
