Since, because of home schooling, webcams and stuff are sold out here in Germany, I gave my not much used webcam with mic and phones to the next door neighbors boy. But to have the old setup ready mainly for testing I had a jolly good look into my junk box. Found a webcam for W7. Yay! Could make it run under W10 but without sound. So next a deep look down my microphone locker. Found a crusty old base, a gooseneck and a simple M-Audio mic and a simple home-grown NE 5532 based mic pre. Put it all together with a little paint for the base. See pic. So now I'm back in business.
