driving compatability between DS1110S and 74ABT04
« on: July 29, 2024, 07:26:58 pm »
Hello , I am connecting 0-3.3V pulse as an input to  DS1110S.
pullup current is 1mA pull down is 12mA also it was said that it could drive 10 74LS type loads as shown below.
because the pull up current is drastickly lower i think we need to use pull up resistor.
my load is 74ABT04 whi input capactiance is 3pF.
1.what is the capcitance of typical 74LS device?
2.I was tol that if i connect 74ABT04 to the output of DS1110S the i dont need pullup resistor between them.
Why is that? I know we have a formula I=CdV/dt.
How can we know that we dont need pullup resistor?
Thanks.
