I've always hated that breadboards have that blank two rows down the center channel especially for projects that need -V, 0V ,+V AND that the outer power rails on normal breadboards don't line up with the other columns with their weird groupings of 5 holes then a gap.
I was just looking at the Kickstarter site (I've actually never bothered looking at it before) and found the Cake board and Biscuit board and they have fixed both those design problems.
