t might still send the signal, but it actively logs the fault

Ah, alright -- I don't think you had mentioned that before. So the controller does detect when the servo is unconnected. Case closed!  :)

Even if your statement were true and that information were in the 1st post, I would consider it rather impolite that you are laughing your head off at my expense.
