Pcb design

  I have PCB designed at a size 68*42mm i want to reduce my pcb into a size 50*30mm  currently i have place components in 1 side  I have just tried 1st time new to pcb  can you please guide on how to place components on both sides and how to route iam working in kicad 5.1.2

It's not really different, just switch between F.Cu and B.Cu layers to design both sides (right panel). Flip a component to the other side by selecting it then pressing F, and add Vias to make links between the layers (press V when routing to place a via automatically).
Also, put vias at different places to connect both ground planes via a low impedance path
