Try Qlikview - really quick for table based data


It is expensive though - but I use it often as excel replacement for quick data overview with great search. Linked tables works really well too.

I use DPlot and I am very happy: it is able to handle millions of points without any hitch and is very fast.
You can download a 30 day trial version, so you can check if it can suit your needs.

Yes, forgot about qlikview. Very powerful and has a free version with no cap on the size of the data set AFAIK.
