Keysight 3000 encoder type?
« on: July 11, 2017, 01:35:16 pm »
I have a DSO-X 3012A and I like the rotary encoders and would like to use it for my projects. Does anyone know which type they are? Don't want to open it, maybe someone has already documented it, looks like they use the same for many different scope models.

I would like to have both, the detented one for the big time base knob, and the small button type with no dents, and the same caps. But I guess the caps might be custom made, but they are not important, there are lots of other caps to buy, if the shaft diameter is some standard size.
