I have some ideas for the the keypad, to replace the individual button.
But I'm curious of how you will resolve this problem

For a ready made control panel, I would probably use a MIDI controller pad.  They come in all forms and shapes, bigger or smaller, or as elements that can be snapped together to form a bigger controller pad.  Usually used by artist, to control musical synthesizers, stage animatronics, theater lights, concert lasers, etc.

This is the front of "the station" this includes the numbers 0 to 9 what explain the numbers of button
