Great video.  I'd like five minutes alone in an empty room with whoever threw that in a dumpster.    What a beautiful piece of hardware! 

I can't imagine what motivated all that silver-plated shielding around the oscillator tube, but I'm sure they had their reasons.  It looks like a million Deutschmarks and probably cost a substantial fraction of it.

And nice work on the meter!  I was thinking you were a little too quick to blame the meter itself, and then I expected a disaster in the making when you tore into it, but it soon became apparent that you knew what you were doing.
