Hi guys,
Arcade game board I’m working on. Without getting into so much detail, there is a mod you can do, to make it switchable between Punch-Out and Super Punch-Out (The sequel), by bank switching various eeproms.
My particular board version uses a few 2564 eeproms, and I am trying to adapt 27C128’s to them in this section of the schematic.
On the 2564s:
>CS1 & CS2 are both grounded, as in the schematic
>PD/PGM in the schematic appears to be used as chip select, so seems to be where I want to wire OE (G) to the 27C128 (Pin 22 to Pin 22)
>I need to use A13 on the 27C128 to bank-switch.
There isn’t really a definitive way to match a 27 to 25 pin for pin, and you have to route it depending on how your board circuitry is laid out. Can you take a look, and see if this will work? I plan on fabbing adapter pcb’s for each eeprom.
- Thanks! Jeff
