Without checking the datasheet I guess CDTop draws some 25 mA. uBlox has models that can be put into 7 mA mode. I don't know the details on logging. But both of these pale in comparison to an ESP32 so that's the main area to save power.

Just in case you're not familiar with it: Make a power budget spreadsheet to understand how far you need to optimize. The power budget sums up the average power consumption of the main components in mA and compares this with the battery size in mAh.
