Full bridge converter rectifier

Hi,
I am working on DC-DC full bridge converter  from 48V to approx 300V/1A . I would like to avoid two secondary windings because of capacitance. Is there any reason to avoid full bridge rectifier and one inductor? Is 2x diode drop only reason?

Basically yes. At 1 A power dissipation isn't an issue. You'll need snubbers on the four rectifiers.
