Cleaning up toner from board after toner-transfer etching.

What solvents or other methods do you use to remove toner from your PCB after you have etched them using toner-transfer method.
I tried nitro solvent but it does not clean it, just helps to remove toner mechanically.

Try turpentine, pretty sure that's what i used last time and the toner dissolved right off.

For the Brother toner I use an aerosol can of brake-kleen -- however I suspect that acetone would work just as well.

acetone FTW or nail polish remover if you just want to go around the corner.

Nail polish remover often has an oil or something in it as a moisturizer, and fragrance - and it's much more expensive.

Anything designed to clean brakes will be very aggressive and not the sort of thing you want to use unless necessary.

Not to mention - that stuff has to be really bad for the environment.

Sometimes I use some compressed air to blow off the pcb after cleaning with 98% IPA - I get noticeably cleaner boards that way.
